Anyone want to go 4x4 playing?
Discussion
I've started a thread over in the Off Road bit, but I thought I'd check in here too.
Anyone want to go and play off road somewhere on August 15th?
I'm struggling to find a pay & play site, so thinking green-laning and a pub lunch somewhere. Happy to take a passenger or two along (Hewlett has long-standing historical first refusal). You'll need insurance covering you on other people's vehicles if you want to share the driving though.

Let me know how you get on with this, if this is a credible alternative to winter (and summer) track days I'll get a budget 4x4!
I've been a few times before. Completely different to a track day, but just as much fun in my opinion, and far more sociable.
It's also dirt cheap in comparison to a track day. Green-laning is free, and pay & play days are £30 for the day at most, and so far any damage I have managed to do has only cost a fraction of the cost of shredding tyres on track!

This thread is 128 pages long but must have some options in there http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f13/surrey-greenlane... I could be tempted to venture out too.

Ooh! Lots!
There's a link near the top as well to some Tomtom POI files for fords and green lanes which I've just downloaded, and will pop onto the Tomtom shortly.
We're off on holiday later today, so I won't be around too regularly, but will definitely be combing through the Surrey County Council website and poring over maps to get a definitive list of where we can play.
