Charlie, What sort of dyno could handle this sort of abuse confused Surely it's not good for the equipment???

Certain dyno hardware is built to take it, how accurate or repeatable the results are is another question entirely though..

Does seem a bit extreme to drop the clutch like that on a dyno.

You can do it on the big american dynos because they are inertia dynos, its not very good for the car though!
