Lovely views over by where they train the race horses, got to be a good place for hang gliding also.

The 339 Basingstoke -Alton stretch on a summers night ,some nice bends and the bikers seem to like this road alot although a few poor souls have met their maker on this road.

One of my favourite routes, you should come along to the Wedge meet 8th Feb. Could probably do with someone to carry the tools.

There's been so many deaths on the 339 in the last couple of years that the Local council are looking at ways of making the road 'safer',i think last year 2 motorcyclists where killed in 1 day.

Personally the other 2 roads i like are the A34 Newbury-Oxford(you can see for miles on one straight stretch)and when there's an event at Silverstone there is always a lot of interesting stuff passing through and the A27 coming off the M27 down towards Bournemouth and Poole,,Both early on a Sunday morning

The B between and over the downs is a great bit of road, as is the B4507 between Wantage and Ashbury Lots of great views over the Upper Thames valley and some nice bends and inclines

Edited to add: Happy now Alex?

One of my favourite routes, you should come along to the Wedge meet 9th Feb. Could probably do with someone to carry the tools.

Did you go to the High Wycombe TVR meeting March last year at the old queens head ??
I remember ( if it was you ) looking round your car and having a chat.

Yes mate, I thought your profile pic looked familiar! Bit of a crowded car park! You were parked next to me if I remember correctly.

The B3349 between Wellington Country Park and Hook is a cracking stretch of road, as long as you don't get stuck behind too many slowcoaches.

If you then continue past Odiham and follow the B3349 the rest of the way to Alton that's also an entertaining bit of road.

The roundabout by Dell in Bracknell on the way to the tip and Homebase, great on a Sunday for a cheeky slide.

I have driven the A4074 quite a few times it is nice when its empty but it can be a pain if you get stuck behind a few slower cars

Donnington, Newbury - Wantage starts off close and wooded, opens out to rolling countryside, long sweeping bends and tighter corners with big cambers, loads of overtaking opportunities.

Not too long but huge fun.

do recomend taking the time to carry on thru bicester and then back along the A413 to aylesbury - especially if you are on 2 wheels only! Road resurfaced last year, and some very fast fabulous sweeping bends.
