Just before the Beaconsfield turn as you go into London on the bridge over the M40.

Now just to confirm they are over the Westbound side of the motorway on the other side of the road....that means if I had been going slightly (ahem) over the limit going eastbound (which I clearly wasn't) they wouldn't have got me right? - They would have to be over the Eastbound side on this side of the road over the M40.

I got a NIP from a photo taken by a scam van on the opposite side of a dual carriageway a couple of years ago so best to expect the worst for 14 days... Unfortunately for them they screwed up my subsequent paperwork and the case got dropped... hehe

I'm sure I could see the camera poking out of the side window in my rear view facing towards the westbound traffic so fingers crossed!

I have noticed some cameras (only southbound) when joining from the M42 on the gantries. Don't know if they are SPEC's or just a variant of Gatso camera's.

I think they are both way's too.

Wasn't the guy that's just been imprisoned for 6 months for 122mph on his bike snapped from the opposite side of the carriageway?

I thought there were rulez'n'regz about where they have to be positioned for trapping? If they're on the other side of a carriageway, doesn't that introduce a large potential for slippage or an unusually oblique angle?

I can understand them doing people going away from them on the same side of the road though, although you'd have to be a twonk not to have seen them before you passed them.

My thoughts exactly!

Had a word with a friends gf who is local BiB and she thinks it was ANPR and looking at traffic coming out of London so hopefully I'll be ok....other wise I could be in a reasonable amount of trouble.

Stevo, on the 5th they were on the 2nd overbridge south of J3 snapping stuff heading away from London. On Saturday and Sunday though they were on top of J2 getting stuff London bound.

Might send them an email and ask for a schedule wink

You've made my day, cheers!

Note to self, more vigilance needed when driving to work!
