Just had a phone call from my local VW dealer, offered a brand new R32, (circa £30k) for under £23k ... anyone interested?

I'd buy an R32 GTR and spend the rest on petrol/tyres/turbos

2008 R32 from a VW dealer... £16k! That's incredible depreciation - never realised these were so bad!

The one I saw earlier has gone as it's vanished from AutoT, but this one could probably be had for £16k from Chester VW:

That ia unbelievable depreciation. Someone, somewhere is weeping into the V5 on that one.

The one above at £22k comes with most things including nav, so probably about right.

Years ago i had a 175hp Jetta 16v with full race suspension, used to go through a front pair of yoko's (195/50R15) every 3000 miles biggrin

Yes, I wish people would specify which R32 they are talking about!

It has no bearing on this thread, but I'm a little bored so I'll share anyway, I've really fancied an early 3.2Q A3 with DSG and a supercharger but I'm not quite mad enough to spunk money on one yet. Would be a lot less than 20k though.

I was seriously unimpressed by the one I used to drive, It tried to turn around when I lifted off the gas on the m40. and was very uninspired

Was fun on grass though.
