A bloody week they had my van and say nothing wrong, i argue till i'm blue in face, he just says i ran these tests on the machine it says everything is ok so we can't fix what isn't there.

I think Nigel's best suggestion was full bore in reverse, then straight into first and see how it copes, that'll be a good warranty claim!

(and if it doesn't work straight away, repeat until dead)

PS. I don't dare start ranting about my day, I think it'd take days to write and bore you all silly

Dean do not buy one they are ste compared to the 140. Its that bad our 5 year old 100 1.9 out runs it, is quieter and has 140k on the clock.

Don't forget to drain the oil out first... and then top it up again when the engine goes bang...

That method worked for a few friend and I many years ago - take one loaner car from Ford with a 4l V6 with an auto box to a bunch of teenagers, a few nights of sillyness, and in less than 450 miles of leaving the production line, the car had a snapped tail shaft lying on the tarmac (and shot brakes too). Ooopps. And then a police partol came around the corner asking why we were in a industrial estate after midnight, and why is your car in the middle of the road?... That was a fun one to explain.
