Didn't want to post this in P&P and start a whole debate thing; just renewed on the RS6 and saved £225 on the premium by switching from A-plan to Swiftcover (with all options except breakdown).

Swiftcover seem to be focussing on premium cars now and have switched their claims system from online to 100% phone based (UK). Probably worth a look if your renewing...

I don't need to renew my insurance for some time but I'm always keen to hear things like this for when it comes to renewal time.

Cheers John. smile

If the Griff is a second car, then you should also try Haggerty Classic Car Insurance. The Chim was approx £180 for 3k miles a year and can top up to 5k miles for about £40 at any time in the year. And it's a guaranteed fixed 'write off' value, so no arguing or hassle should the worst occur! Has to be a second car though with valid insurance on a 'day to day' car...

Got the Leggy with Swiftcover, agree I think they are being quite aggressive with pricing as they were best by quite some margin.
