Last night while eating pies there was a lot of discussion about good pubs around that were highly recommended...

However, I'm a boy so multi tasking doesn't apply and so I was limited to either 'listening and remembering' or 'eating pie'. I am proud to report that the pie was very good and worthy of winning the delimma.

So I thought I'd do the obvious thing and set up the "Unofficial SAS Good Pub Guide".

Post your recommendations below! beer

Oh dear....this might take a while! Do we just want Pubs, or Pubs that serve good food too, or Pubs, Pubs with Food, and Pubs with Food, and sexy barmaids? biggrin

Then every other tom dick and harry can come and ruin all the good pubs with longer queues to get my drinks and car parks with nicer cars than my own in?

NO thanks

Hm They do have a good selection of real beer, which goes along way in my book.

In that case the Hobgoblin in Reading as checked last night should be on the list, if you don't like real ale you might as well not bother though hehe

Problem is it takes 15 minutes to get to the bar fighting your way past the 'elderly' clients!
