Not bad Al. Mine made 169.9bhp tongue out which is pretty much bang on the money. 153lb/ft torque which is above book. It matched some of the best 182s' for torque at the RR-day I went to (not at SRR, some place in Telford). Thats with cat-back exhaust and sports cat.

Are you getting involved in cliosport.net then?

Only involved with clisport for thngs like getting tech advice, and seeing if and bargain group buys come up. Dont think I'm going to bother tuning it though, not worht money of zorst RS tuner map and ported inlets @ £800 for maybe 10 bhp.

The meets and forum are pretty crap. Good for tech info though.

Silly money to tune the engines on these really for the gains. I toyed with getting a remap and inlet manifold matching for a while. Decided against it. The inlet manifold mod makes the most difference on a poor engine and mine seems pretty good already. A mate had it done on his Cup - made it sound a bit different he reckoned! Still might get an RS tuner as I've heard good things and its relatively cheap.

Popped along to the RS Clio net day at SRR today, the clio is std and done 98k and a 172 ph1, thought it did ok really. others were making the same power upto about 180 I think from a few 182's but for 20 bhp more im not spending 1k prob on mods. Just learn to drive the car harder will make more of a difference!! here are the graphs.

and at the wheels

What d'you think?
