So given that I'm fed up of this country already this year, which city would you pick for 4th July in the US?

Florida is almost certainly out.

Come on chaps, I have some ideas but would like to know other thoughts

Rob I've got no problem with heat (actually quite like it) stayed in death valley and more of the hot places on the west coast and spent a week in Dubai where it averaged 52-53 degrees c!

Best place in the US for 4th of July is where your friends/family are, and i have more friends and family on the North Carolina/South Carolina border than anywhere else in the US. I'm guessing the best place for Nigel would be Texas.

You? I don't know, but San Francisco is always a party town...

Have been to Boston for the 4th July already but it was epic (although many years ago), my company and as such a few friends are based there so still not a bad idea.

Seattle isn't a bad idea either.
