Erm ... it's been a minute, and no-ones posted.
Shall I start then?
I'd like to recognise all the people who I've met through the SAS, and of whom I've become very close and best friends. Do I name names? Feck yeah ......
In no specific order .... Nigel, Rob, Cat, Dave and Hannah, Benajmin, Vicar H, Andy, Alex, Pete, Charlie, Hag, Jam Rock, Jaz XJS, John R, Mr. Frozen Speed (and Sofia), Diz, Ali Kat, mattttttttttttttttttt and The one and only Lord One of Silent; and I know there's lots of others too. These are who immediately spring to mind. And remember, it's late and I'm tired ... and I'll be lying in bed thinking "feck, I forgot him and her, oh and him too, etc, etc". So please don't be offended. It's genuinely not meant in that way.
Oh, and thanks to PetrolTed too
And I could name some non-SASers - but that's not fair; as they're outside our group.

"OH YES"
Pretty much the same sentiments as everyone else really.
It's funny though, I still remember the first ever SAS meet and I remember my friends responses as I told them I was going to meet a guy called Kinky in a pub in the middle of nowhere. I got some stick for that one for a long time but I'm glad I went as I've met some great friends who will hopefully be around for a long time to come.
So thank you for getting me involved Kinky!
Oh and I think Charlie (of all people!) summed up this place pretty well when he mentioned that this is probably the only regional forum where someone will post up mentioning how bored they are and you'll almost gurantee that within half an hour they would have arranged to go out for a beer with them.
Spot on if you ask me!

Same sentiment here. Thanks Kinky, who knew when I sat next to you to with the kids at the Sunningdale summer fete (to see the line dancing/ dog show/ etc), that I would end up with some good new mates who also enjoyed a Guinness or 7 Brilliant stuff!kiwifraser said:

The obvious ones of having met a great bunch of people, who really enjoy a giggle and a hoon, and regularly give me an excuse to get up early, or stay up late
An unexpected bonus, is getting even more fun out of my car. Getting in and starting her up always gets me grinning, planting my right foot creates howls, but driving with a bunch of like minded mates, whether it is down country lanes or though city tunnels, is what it has really been about.
Long may it continue

There's a few things that stand out to me, David sending me his mobile number and asking me if I wanted to meet up before the Dash to the coast (at silly o'clock) a few years ago. I was a touch hungover and did the normal wondering around going I guess you're David? To that fantastic run down following Lucky P and then still on of the funniest runs back ever with Marcellus, David and Humpy.
The other comedy excellent accidental run back would be the one from Gaydon with Tuscan Rat, David, Nathan and me trying to keep up in my little slow car in the rain
Then there would be two of the most amazing holidays that still confuse my colleagues and friends that wouldn't have happened without PH or the locals. So a massive thanks to Charlie for being awkward and going home early, Nigel for being a great laugh and Neil for leading the way on alcohol abuse.
I could go on for a really long time, but I'll leave it at that.

As a relatively distant member on here who pops along to the meets every now and then i have to say you've all been very welcoming and polite people who want to have fun in a like minded manor and have to say that of most of the forums ive been on this is by far one of the most welcoming and enjoyable ones and i look forward to meeting more of you lot on a more regular basis now I'm officially not a student anymore in two weeks time!
lets just make sure this continues.

Yes, yes, and yes! Fantastic memories
Oh, and the first time we drove the B4494 (and every other time since!)
I was at the Reading game last night... Wolves scored a spectacularly stupid own goal in the first minute and that was how the game ended; 1-0 to Reading!
Still a good game though - 2 case of concussion, red card in the last 2 mins (Wolves) and a dislocated shoulder. Oh yes, and the football was quite intense too!
We were about 10 vertical rows from the away fans so I also learned some new words which is always a bonus!
Always good to see an away fan get a hiding too - he was asked to calm down by a female steward and he threw a punch at her which missed. The rather large male steward next to her instantly reacted with a rabbit punch and the guy went down like a sack of spuds! Oh how we laughed as the nice Policemen pulled the semi-conscious guy over the barrier and kneeled on his head so their colleagues could put him in cuffs...
Sorry, what was the question again?
EFA: typo's

I’ve made so many new friends… and they are good friends
Now the summers coming and the northern parts of the UK are calling the SAS… so lets go
