TYraffic is a bit of a nightmare for the next few days.
Smoke if you got em !!!

Dear all

Some of you may be aware that due to a gas leak there has had to be a closure on Goswell Road, Windsor. Most of the businesses directly affected by this closure were notified over the week end.

Clearly this work has to be carried out and as a result any traffic coming in from Datchett will be diverted out and through Old Windsor. Traffic coming in via Arthur road is being diverted via Thames Street. The works are expected to last 2 - 3 days depending upon the nature of the leak and the repair required.

I would ask if you could advise any staff , clients and contractors of this and ensure that they take this into account when coming into Windsor. I have attached a letter sent out by National Grid should anyone wish to discuss the matter further.

Does this mean the road by Swim Bike run and the Travellodge?

It's a bit of a nightmare as so much traffic comes through there.

Do you still have your Chim ? and is it parked by the cop shop ?

Dear All

Please be advised that National Grid have found and repaired the gas leak and the reinstatement has being carried out and Goswell Road is now fully open.

Still got the Chim, but moved it recently as I have been working abroad for 2 years and someone put their hand through the rear screen. Only live in Windsor the odd weekend now, so not much use for the car sadly
