Does anybody know a dealer who keeps Michelin Pilot Sport (the N rated type) in stock? I'm heading to Belgium tomorrow and suddenly have a very bad feeling about the state of my tyres...

Cheers smile

Try Micheldever (spelt wrong, haven't woken up yet) they keep a huge stock. Or Bracknell Tyre and Brake?

As has already been said...

Bracknell Tyre and Battery may not have in stock but might be able to get in for this afternoon if you call them now: 01344 411323‎

If not then try Micheldever, who keep HUGE stocks: http://www.micheldever.co.uk/

Micheldever have the PS2s in stock, which are asymmetric, and can't be matched with the PS1s I have on the car as they are directional.

I think I'm just going to take the train at this rate didn't want to spend £600 when I only actually need 2 tyres frown

Why does it matter that you have asymmetric at one end of the car and directional at the other end? Not having four tyres of the same type isn't ideal but if you're sticking to largely similar tyres in axle pairs then i don't really see the problem.

It's opposite sides, not on the same axle.

yes

I have Yokohama ADVAN Sports on the rear and Eagle F1s on the front. I just had to check and make sure that the rolling diameter was the same on both the front and rear axle so as the Torsen diff wouldn't have a fit.

They seem to be wearing evenly so I'll change them in one go for a complete set of tyres when the time comes.

Sounds like your only possible solution here is to buy a new car... Now, what is your budget, and the crew here should be able to find you something by early afternoon biggrin

Hang on, so you need a front from one side of the car and a rear from the other side of the car? Is that the weirdest wear pattern in the world or what?

How worn are the other two tyres? If they're more than half worn i'd say you're going to need all four anyway!

It's a bit odd I know, but I had to replace 2 to get it through the MOT. They look ok to me, but I'm never sure on tyres.

Porsche centre Byfleet has just come up trumps. They have 2 left for £384 fitted which isn't great but it's better then a bill for £622
