There is a 'gap' in my life!
Discussion
Afternoon all ,
As many of you will know, I sold the Caterham some two/three months back now and am missng something in my life. The plan was to sell the car, save deposit for a house and do the 'sensible grown up bit'. However, I miss the car like mad, miss the Breakfast runs loads and am feeling rather depressed about the whole situation!
It may sound sad , but recently,I have had very vivid dreams of driving the Caterham again, blasting down those cold country lanes with the bright early morning sun flicking through the trees with the sound of the throttle bodies and exhaust sounding quite delightful..
The memories of those breakfast runs, the driving, the banter, the laughs, keep me going for the time being but the other day a good friend of mine let me use his Mitsubishi Evo FQ340 and I was launched back into country lane antics and it all came flooding back.
I miss driving these cars so much! Any ideas on how I can combine both house buying and cheap fast motoring!?!

Well I somehow managed to make 125bhp keep relatively close to Maff's 599 this morning, and had a lot of fun whilst doing it. I know Tuscan Al recently got a Clio 172 Mk.1 for under £2k, and it's practical enough for an everyday car, whilst being a hoot when you want it to be.As many of you will know, I sold the Caterham some two/three months back now and am missng something in my life. Mmmmm - now I wonder how much that would cost me to import to Holland? As ben has said, I have found the S3 to be great for the hoons and it has the benefit of making a great daily driver as well, Not too expensive, but and more than capable, Insurance is reasonable too.
One car that does it all reasonably well, makes it more affordable
One thing we are missing is the budget number?
I may also happen to know where a nice S3 is was well.......
