blue 335d C6 XXX tourer

Passing through Reading earlier today I was trying to keep up with a blue 335d earlier in an m3 evo, nice straight line speed out of the roundabout (must be all that torque low down!).

Obviously you were going for it but was wondering if you have had it remapped? might have been able to close the gap earlier if you didnt back off before I reached peak power in 4th

Depending on which M3 you've got I doubt it'd even need to be mapped to leave you for dead as it's almost idiot proof (as most if not all are autos and they have bags of torque, even stock).

That's it Ben, get in there nice and early (before Charlie - though he may not be as keen as the old days...).

Evo? I'm guessing E36 then, 321bhp and lots of revs needed to reach the torque. 335d, as Ben says, will trounce most things through the midrange because the torque is mountainous and very very accessible.
