Places to go out in Luton???

Off to luton tonight for a mates 22nd but we are gonna be there a bit early so anyone recommend anywhere for food and drinking?

Had to do a bit of work in Luton not long ago. I'd suggest you go elsewhere, perhaps Hitchin.

The place is an utter sthole and the people generally unpleasant.

im really not looking forward to the town tbh as I usually cant wait to get away from there but he lives there unfortunately and has chosen the place for latter on so kinda stuck to the town.

There's a tapas place down near the central square, more or less opposite the Thistle Hotel side of the Arndale. Looks OK, but I've never been there TBH. It's where I would go if it were me though.. Hitchin is better IMO too.
