I may be wrong, but I'm guessing: A fire has broken out following an explosion at a Berkshire trading estate.

We're about 300yds away as the crow flies and it was LOUD. The windows flexed in the shockwave and a huge plume of black smoke rose into the air. Sounds like only one injury which is incredibly lucky.

But which PHer put the comment below on the Slough Observer site?

I heard the explosion in Yorkshire.
It made my nether regions shake it was that fierce.

You did say a while back that you got the job. I'm based in Bath Road and on the north side of the building so had a good view of the mushroom cloud hanging over Slough. Come and say hello some timewavey

As is common with HSE, EPA and Tax prosecutions there is normally a very strong case so they will have to prove themselves "Not Guilty"
HSE & EPA do not go for court action unless the evidence is stacked in their favour.
Good for them and I hope the French owners get well stung.
