Box Sky Scrounge

We are currently having a spot of bother with our Sky TV. We think it is the box but I don't want to do the 'I'm leaving, so give me a Sky+ box for free' thing until we know its actually the box rather than the dish. Does any one have a spare box from an upgrade or however that we could borrow for a day or so, to prove or fault. Payment will be made in the form of beer tokens and returned safely!

Remember to tell them who you're going to switch too, and quote the numbers at them if they ask, i.e. BT or Virgin. I spent 2 mins on the Virgin website and when I phoned Sky they told me Virgin was more expensive - which I was immediately able to deny and tell them how much it was!

Free Sky+ box, free installation and 6 months Sky+ for free... (but that was nearly a year ago so not sure what they'll offer now?)
