Will keep an eye open for you then nigel, unless you want to buy via proxy ?

There is one on wednesday too that looks good. Nothing interesting but some run around cars that if go cheap I may look at. Need to get a general idea of prices in my range.

DO we know what the fees are yet at BCA?

In each Auction Hall there is a poster on the wall that details the buyers fee for each price range.

As a rough guide it's approximately 5%-6% of the auction price +VAT. And remember that VAT has been reduced as of today!

Back from the auction, load of crap for 1.5k or less would have been better spending more and got a 54 plate car, people seemed to pay stupid money, an astra like mine on 95 plate went for £300??!

No other way of making money on that, it'll have the 'private plate' changed, 125k off and be on a forecourt in the 'west' of London for £15K next week.

andyc.

Are you sure they knocked it down? They have a habit of bidding them up when no bidders to get you all going, quite common.
I always stand at back when bidding so you can see who they are looking at and who is bidding!
