Sold my KA for £300 less than I got it two years and 21,000 miles ago party

Here's what we put down a deposit on today, and had a funny conversation with the dealer:

Conversation goes:
Dealer: "I'll just go and talk to the Manager and see what's the best price we can offer you.
Me: "Ok."
Dealer, comes back: "Ok sir, we can do the car for £8695 on the road with 6 month's tax."
Me: "That's interesting, because I have an email from Usman (the other salesman) offering it at £7995 otr."
Dealer: "Oh, are you sure about that."
Me: "He sent me an email, which I can show you on my phone."
Dealer: " ranting , I better go and talk to the Manager."
Manager to dealer: "...blah, blah, blah, Usman's gonna get shot on Monday." hehe

Nice to sell my car and get a good price for the car on my Birthday woohoo

Excellent news!

Assume you'll be coming to Wales with us in the New Year then!! woohoo

Hazel had a Suzuki for years and years and it was unbelievably reliable and took a lot of abuse in it's time too! Apart from servicing & consumables the only thing that ever needed replacing was a driving light bulb in 6 years and 60k miles.

Thanks for all the messages.

And John, you are a bad influence, although I've already had a look at them myself. If it doesn't invalidate the warranty and insurance are OK with it then it might be an option next year.

And defiantly coming to Wales with this bad boy next year driving

He is. Luckily the insurance company wouldn't touch me with a barge pole if I got this:

Great little car, I had one for a week last year when our family bus went into the garage - huge fun for such a small bundle!!

Enjoy!

Yeah I don't have much of an idea if it's quick enough, although this run in example felt quicker than the one with 50 miles I drove.

Too right, although I want to wait a couple of weeks before hooning it to get acclimatised. It may be a little out of puff on the longer straights but it seemed to corner flat and fast.

I'm gonna have to try very hard to keep the mpg in the 30s for the first few weeks (I know that sounds high to you lot with your turbos and V8s, but the KA was doing 50mpg).
