OK, this is a bit of a long-shot but.......

I am an IT contract project manager/business analyst/service delivery manager, my last contract finished in Sept and things are a bit slow at the moment. Traditionally nothing happens in the IT market between now and Feb so I am looking for a bit of cash in hand/casual work to see me and the family through Christmas (and stop us using all of the savings). Anyone know of anyone looking for a pair of hands at the moment? Quite interested in a driving job or similar, I know that the money will not be what I am used to but at the moment cash is cash!

Only thing I can't do is heavy lifting, I have a bit of a bad back so lifting big stuff is likely to stop my legs from working!

If you're old enough you could try and get some work driving 7.5 tonne as a temp. That's what i used to do a few years back, mostly pallet work so you either use a pallet truck or a forklift.

There are a few agencies around for this sort of thing.
