POssibly my saddest ever thread.
Anyway-this year I am determined to be ahead of the game and take the kids sledging as snow is forecast this weekend.
I dont know anywhere to go which is a bit of a setback.
Anyone?

West Wycombe hill in any direction - good chance the kids will break the sound barrier on the downward run! biggrin or Hughenden Manor on the way to Amersham.......gentle hill in the National Trust place there......

Huge grass embankments up the side of the Stoke and Church cutting.

I've never been up there but my family have.

erm thats Stockenchurch (or were you joking?)

also bledlow ridge has some steep sides to it which generally get covered in snow.

Imagine Marlow hill with sheet ice!

I live close to Hughenden-do you access that hill from the Manor car park?>
Is the West Wycombe Hill where the Golden Ball is? Do you get there through the church car park?

Cheers everyone although I am fairly sure I have shot my bolt early on this one.
I think we are in for about 6 flakes of snow at about 2am Sunday mornin g, ergo this post will seem both sad and stupid by Monday morning.

You can either park at the manor car park or park at the church car park 1/2 way up the hill.

yup, although the best place to park is to go through the bottom of the high street, turn right at the bottom and park in the garden centre car park about 200 yds down the road on the left! Have fun in the snow!!

I'm about 20 miles south of HW - and we had snow for a few seconds. Almost all gone now.
