Looks like the tree won.yikes

Saw a blue late model Porche being recovered between Chobham & Fairoaks this morning just before 08:00hrs
Looks like a classic case of "got the car now need to learn to handle it"
Maybe some city slicker that cannot read rural roads.

Well into the ditch and rammed up against a tree.
Bike Cop there directing traffic so decided against a sneaky photo.
Winch Recovery required.

Hope no one from here, looked painfull.

A319? Where abouts?

I think it was two years ago that there was a fatality down that road with the police in chase.

Quite a few corners down that road that someone can get it wrong after finding that they are going very fast.

Coming into Chobham from Fairoaks direction just past the Pikey site and before the 40mph signs on left hand side opposite the new farm entrance.

Car was well down in ditch and front end wedged under tree.
Looked like it had been there all night.
It's quick bit of road but you need to watch the un-even surface before the 40 kicks in. Typical rural road.

Normally would have snapped it but the bike cop was standing right there
directing traffic past the recovery truck.
I was on route to get MOT done and running late so I hoofed it.
