SAS Xmas Dinner - Saturday December 6th 2008

As it is getting near that time again.

Thought now would be a good time to get an idea of numbers that would be interested in the annual Dinner Drink get together.

Suggested venue would be to start at the:

Pub on the corner of St Lukes Road.

For pre dinner drinks followed by Food at:

Punto's
St Lukes Road,Old Windsor, Berkshire,SL4 2QH

This is only a suggestion at this stage but we are prepared to set it all up and arrange if sufficient interest is gained.

It would be good to have a complete list of names by end of the month,as the venue may not be able to accomodate more than about 30.

Considering the utter and dispicable crap that some people did last year ....

a few folks who did not pay 1 penny and 'bunked' off

Can we vet who comes this year?

I still feel guilty for Sue who had to sort all the crap out because of a few tossers. PHers my arse.

If we do go for the Viceroy - then from vague memory it only holds about 30 or so - so we'd need to book very early to ensure we get us all in

So no shannigans on this tour with non payers etc.

Do we know who left without paying or who misbehaved last time? If we do then simply un-invite them.

All I know is that anyone who was still there near the end of the night ended up paying extra money until TC had enough and stuck the rest of the bill on his card.

Anyway, you guys can count on Cat and I attending.

It wouldn't be fair to name names but most people have to correct incklings!

So thanks to them, this year is going to be strict, pay up front or ps off!

Once numbers have been roughly sorted, we will arrange venue and date, if Viceroy not suitable, and money etc. Funds will then need to be paid by a set date. If not recieved by then, tough. I don't play the 'I'll give you the money on the night' crap. If you've not paid then your seat will not be booked, simple!

Sorry to sound harsh to everyone who was good last year but as normal a few spoil it for the mass!

Not sure Curry is best for an XMAS event to be honest, not everyone likes it, although i love it

Can i suggest we do something like bluebeckers in Chobham? Bit more choice for everyone.

Just to add, I quite like Charlies idea of going to Blubeckers. We went to the one in Shepperton a few years back for a christmas doo and it was good fun and they were pretty accomodating too.
