Hot on the heels of last week's hoon I know... but the forecast for this weekend is looking good at the moment biggrin
www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/se/reading_forecas...

For those of us too sensible ghey to drive their underpowered cars in the wet I thought it was an opportunity not to miss, and for those that went last week, well an opportunity to do it again! In the dry!

Aim to follow the usual plan of RV around 0600-0630, depart shortly after. Open to sugggstions on a route, but...

Definitely, I missed last week's run as my car was in the workshop and is due to be out later today after having a reconditioned gearbox, new driveshafts, new engine mounts, and a host of other bits and pieces to make sure it goes like a new car even if it doesn't look like one. Can't wait! The clutch had 130K on it and apparently looked only slightly worn, just goes to show that they can last the lifespan of the car if you've a particularly gentle left foot, albeit with a leaden right foot!

I think I might be the only one not to have a car to hoon in, yet the desire to hoon is intense!!!

Sadly I can't make this one as I am working (need to be in Farnborough by 9.30am latest) but might have to steal a pax ride in with John D at some point if thats ok!!?!

Incidently, I am still scanning the Porsche section after the spin in Nathans the other day!!! House....or Porsche....House....or Porsche (GF "don't you even fcensoreding think about it Paul" :underthethumbsmiley:banghead)

(Maybe I should change my screen name now I am minus car!!?)

Where to meet? I am free and fancy giving the 'ol girl a day out for a treat, full tank of fuel and new tyres to use!

Plus a mate of mine wants a ride out in it, so may treat him.

I'd thought that we could use last weekend's meeting point and route as it got great reviews. A few may have driven it last week but it will be new to some too.

I'm open to suggestions though!

Fine by me. I'm interested to find out what its like when not underwater! hehe I can check my Tom Tom for alternatives this evening if need be, got a few routes saved on there wink

(I'll take this opportunity to add I'll give it a miss if it is wet. Normally I'd turn up anyway but hooning the same route in the rain twice in 8 days is just silly nuts )
