Hi,

New to this forum! Need some help from all you PHs. I am the pround GF of fade2grey (owner of greyish Maserati Gransport)We are planning to get hitched next year and I would looovvve to get him a supercar to drive for the morning of the wedding (no excuses not to get to the church on time!). He has always like murcilagos (not the right spelling I know!)and I've looked at hiring one, but companys only do hires for whole weekends and they are extremely pricey!! The question is...can anyone help with this?

Hoping someone can,

Mrs Fade2grey to be!

After great thought and deliberation I am more than happy to volunteer..... as a driver!

I will be more than happy to make sure I drive the said vehicle with your hubby-to-be in passenger seat and I can guarantee I will get him to the church on time...

Right, now to find a Murci!!! hehe

Congrats by the way!

Wedding present solved as well.

Seriously tho... have you considered getting him a Track Day experience so he can drive one properly as a wedding gift? I know that won't get him to the Church in one but I'm sure if you posted on the Lambo forum asking for a volunteer to drive him there, you'd get some response.

I saw this today in London, the paint job/wrap is a mess and peeling off.

Thank you folks for your messages! Think I'll need longer than a year to save for the car in london!

Might be better off posting this in the Lambo/Ferrari forum.

Hello there,

I had the same predicament, but for my Sister's wedding. I wanted to hire the groom a supercar for the weekend and found a great deal on a Ferrari 360 Spider for £800 for the whole weekend! Pretty good deal.

It was such a good deal I got jealous so got myself a AMV8 for the weekend and that only cost £600. Very reasonable prices in my opinion.

Try these guys out: http://www.supercarexperiences.com/

Prices might be different though as I do have the gift of the gab...

Good luck!

That seems really cheap, fantastic find... you appear to be able to get a vantage for the week (mon - fri) for only around £525+ normal crap!

hehethumbup

I wonder if I can convince them to let me have the gallardo spyder for a mid week offer, £795 almost sounds like a bargain.

Have to say I'm seriously tempted with the G for a week. I have a week off work that I have nothing planned for in October, I'm sure that would keep me amused. Mileage limit of 100 per day isn't much though.

I was thinking that might be negotiable scratchchin I know the folks that hired the F430 and others on the paris tunnel run did some negotiating!

If you do hire one I'm sure you'd need a passenger at some point! hehe

Indeed, obviously a bit of negotiation helps... ;-) It does help to negotiate the best deal you can...and then offer cash!

My deal is:
360 Spider F1 (Tubi sports exhaust) and AMV8 with all the trimmings, so perfect for the wedding!

12pm Friday to 12pm Monday, 300 miles each, £1.50 each additional mile, £5k Excess (standard from what I could find) - so it's not bad at all. Honestly the best deal I could find.

The owner (Nik) is a really nice guy too! Would definitely recommend him.
