OK so we all know about the scams from people claiming to be interested in your car but wanting it to be shipped etc. I have a car currently in PH's classifieds and recieved the following e-mail after an initial mail asking if the car was still for sale...

Hello Steven ,
Thanks for getting back to me . I Just wanted to know if the Vehicle is still Available for Sale so that i can send our Shipping Agent to Check it out. But before that is done , I need you to send to me your full names and address that payment for this vehicle would be made payable to as well as your phone number. Also Include the total price of the Vehicle so that I can have my financier effect A Deposit payment to you so as to secure the Car alright , then after viewing it you will have the balance. If you have any Questions Call Me on 0*********0 . Hope to hear from you soonest.

John

Now the number looks to be legit although not yet called it and I can't see what he would hope to gain from my name, address and phone number, especially if I give him work details....??

Just wondering what your thoughts are, am I being overly sus about it or does it scream SCAM??

Very strange use of capitals there. It would appear to be a scam to me.
