My insurance is up again and the RAC want other £200 more then last year ! I have not made a claim or any additional changes to the policy.
Time to shop around, has any one insured their car in the last few weeks and got a good deal and with who?

Try confused.com to get an idea of what you could be paying - always gives me a good ballpark and i can usually improve on it with a few phone calls.

hehe

Nathan I've been with Chris Knott since June. Were significantly cheaper than most, Adrian Flux a fairly close second. I doubt you and I are in the same insurance bracket though!

I renewed with Privilege recently and my premium had reduced.

Might be worth giving them a shot but as said, the online quote comparison sites give you a good ballpark..

Have you made sure you told them the colour, seal grey is like urban camouflage and parked up for instance is virtually invisible, making the theft risk far less, that should bring your premium well down.

If by improve you mean knock 1/3 off. I've NEVER had a competative quote from confused.com.

I phone around but the cheapest for my car is always either Adrian Flux or A-Plan.

I can't be arsed with confused anymore, was never any good for me!

A-Plan (who were best last time around), Greenlight or Adrian Flux have all been best for me in the last few years.

Same here. I'm currently with A-Plan and it is due for renewal next month. Last year Adrian Flux came out tops but A-Plan then matched it so as to not loose my custom. They were both the cheapest for me.
