Signed but just as an aside, you shoudl add a sixth point and comment on the increased wind from the turbine?

If my small fan at home cools me during the summer months, what the bejesus will that behemoth do?

Personally, I'd be overjoyed if they built one at the back of my house.

a: Green energy is good, if inefficient
b: I think they're beautiful and have happily sat looking up at them with my hippy friends in Zummerzet for hours on end....
c: They'd have to flatten the houses that back on to mine, hopefully with my neighbours inside.

I just thought it would give the councillors something to ponder and I'd love to see the politically correct, no sense of humour response from a council to that.

The one in Reading next to the M4 is stunning, and if anything has added a landmark to what was previously a fairly pants area...

Hmmmm

We all want to drive fast cars so we need alternatives to aid green thinking
We all want green power, but "not by my house"

The fact is its comming, they do look cool, and dont polute, and you usually can go around under them, just not flying a kite?

It will also stop flats from being built on the land behind you?

sorry....

And the one in Reading looks cool saw it yesterday!

Its a big propeler, how is that beautiful ? The sistine chapel, thats beautiful !!
a big white propeler is st !
Don't get me wrong I am all for green energy but would you want one in your garden ?
it won't make any difference to your energy bills and lowers the house price.

Is it literally going to be next to your house or just in or near the village somewhere?

yes
I live just over a mile from the Reading one, its become a landmark not an eyesore.I don't think if it was closer,'just over the road from me' would make any difference to me.
BTW some of the info on the website is a bit dodgy/scaremongering

I'd watch the video I posted, I love the things but there have actually been a few "fail"!
