anyone know a fella with a transit or similar that can come to me & take away a load of house junk that's currently piled up in the garden? Would be many trips in the Lupo & really wouldnt do my useless back any good (there are a dozen paving stones that weight a bit)

Was thinking of a skip but would be on the road so costs quite a bit after council clearance. Plus really dont need it here any length.. stuff is piled all ready to go.

Have you tried the Hippo bags from wickes for around £15 and they come round with a hyab and collect from your door step!

Yeh I can do it, live just up the road in Tilehurst. Got a ropey old VW Transporter that may make it to the tip and back! Gimme a shout on the below email and we can sort something out.

A word of warning, I don't know what your local tips like but the one just outsied Woking won't let you take stuff in if you have a van as they assume its trade waste.

When we knocked the bin store outside our house down, we had to take the bricks to a layby in the back of a van and do several trips in to the tip with a Merc A class.

You might be OK but I wouldn't bank on it.

Yep all ones in woking and guildford and No Vans or Pickups! Guildfrod will charge you by the half ton if you take em. and they will stick you on the weighbridge.

But they will allow you to take trailers in!

Reading haven't batted an eyelid the 3/4 times I've been with vans. Never even been questioned, only time i've been questioned was when I was taking asbestos.
