With summer in full swing (well as good as it gets in these parts) and a new TomTom I have yet to use in anger, it would be rude not to make the most of the most of the bright mornings.

Anyone fancy a Sunday morning get togther later this month?? Say July 20th?? driving

I would love to do this but I'm not sure if I will be awake in time as I'll be out to celebrate a few birthdays the night before.

I was looking at a run and ran the idea of a Sunset run passed Angry Ben ....Leave the Crowethorne area cut accross to the Dash to the coast route then, down to a secluded beach? for some Bring your own Barbie, and then back up when your bored with the M3 in easy access?

I was looking at the weekend after the one mentioned.

Route is sort of planned via google maps?

Let me know, No tom tom for me so we can ITN you Akers and away we go!

I would usually jump at the chance to come along but I'm getting my new brakes fitted on the 19th so probably not a good idea to bed them in on a hoon around the countryside with you lot.

Maybe I could stay at the back, so long as no one minds a car with new brakes following them? biggrin

I'm afraid that bedding your brakes in is not a worthy excuse when it comes to this bunch...

I got e-mails calling me a big gayer, was called a pansy/poof on here and even had an abusive phonecall. hehe

Cue one very quiet saturday morning on the M3 (around 1am) and my brakes were nicely bedded in for the run the next day. thumbup

Cheeky thread hijacker! wink

I'm sure atending both will be feasible for those that want, possibly including myself. Provided there is enough interest I propose a 6:30 start, meaning we'll be finished by 9:30. Haven't planned a route yet, but we'll be finishing in the vicinity of the M3, allowing easy transfer to Elvetham Heath.

Michelin Pilot Exalto 2 195/45/16. Two for the front.

Bracknell Tyre and Battery have quoted £140 and I have a back up quote with a local place for £170. Unfortunately neither of them have any and none of the other places I've spoke to over the past fortnight have either! They all say they are waiting for Michelin to supply them. I think its the width that is relatively unusual, I had to wait a few days last time. I'm expecting a call this week tbh.

Although bmw2002 has kindly come up with a plan B now, so perhaps new tyres are less urgentwink

Fezza funday at Newbury, due to presence of stepdaughter, Mr N wants to go to this, dilemma caused by Box being a two seater so if I don't go to Newbury he will insist on taking the Box, if I go as well he will take the A3. fcensoreded either way, unless it's REALLY earlyidea
