Well chaps I know I have bugged almost all of you. But if anyone else would like to show their car at this years Bracknell classic car show, drop me an e mail. At the mo we have 12 cars and a few more if the weather bucks its ideas up.

Classic Motor Show comes to Bracknell town centre

Classic motor vehicles from Bentley, Porsche, Ferrari, Jaguar and Harley Davidson will be revving their engines on Saturday 28th June as they head to Bracknell town centre for the first ever Classic Motor Show.

Taking place in Charles Square and the Broadway from 10am – 4pm, the Bracknell Classic Motor Show will exhibit some of the most iconic cars and motorcycles in motoring history.

TOP ATTRACTIONS:

- The winner of Le Mans in 1988 – the Jaguar XJR9 - will be a star attraction at the show. The car is powered by a Jaguar V12 engine producing 750bhp from a capacity of 7.0litres

- Aspiring racing enthusiasts can test their skills on the Lotus F1 simulator to see if they can reach the top of the league table

- For those that prefer to be driven, there’s the opportunity to take a ride around in a classic British sports car, the Caterham

First off a MASSIVE THANK YOU to all who attended, I wasn't sure how the day would work, and was a bit miffed that we were split up. And it was a long day, thankfully the weather held out, and everyone managed to sort themselves out. Huge thanks to Andy and Family for holding out the whole day with the XJ220. Thanks also goes to TVRJock for keeping those pesky pigeons at bay with his fine display of TVR engine reving skills, Truly you were heard from a distance. Also all the other Guys and Girls that attended with out you it would of been a bit thin on the ground. I have heard nothing but positive reports from the Council on the way we came across.
Bracknell is an "interesting ? " little town and im sure next years show will be bigger and better.

I have spoken to the proper photographer about getting all of ours pics sent through see when they come I will put them up.

Pics of mine to follow.

Phil

Good morning out, nice to chat to so many enthusiastic members of the public - also had a good laugh with a handful of PH-ers!

Thanks for inviting me Phil, you did a great job of getting the cars together at such short notice - I would imagine the event will run again next year and will be a bit bigger and better.............see you at Goodwood next Sunday morning.

Here are a couple of my piccies, the rest are here;

Was really nice to meet fellow enthusiasts, Bocky with his very nice Lotus and the other tivver boys always happy to make lots of noise biggrin. Look forward to seeing you all again at more events in the near future.

Yup Yup pub afterwards was good too. I still owe some people beer tokens. I will keep an Eye on the weather and get a pass out from the wife one weekend. That stag and hounds pub in Binfield was great !

I overtook two Hell's Angels on Mobility scooters on the way there. They were riding side by side.

Dropped a cog or two zoomed past them, even though it was up a hill.

(I was on my pushbike mind)

Good show, nice cars!
