Is anyone attending this year? Got any advice about it? Is it worth opting for the "Diamond" paddock pass or just the std ticket?

Cheers for your input bow

Go and freeload from one of the nearby exercise areas like I do!

Then again I am paying £50 to watch RIAT the week before! So its allowed.

I'll be being paid to spend the week there again - driving, of course.

Is it this week!? frown

I'm working just up the road from the show and it is always a nightmare coming in from the Fleet side of F'boro.

+1 for the freeloading though. Years ago when I lived in F'boro we used to take a picnic to the park opposite the Nokia offices and watch it from there!

I don't either, you can get tickets for Friday from here;

http://shop.keypublishing.com/acatalog/fia2008.htm...

If you have trouble ordering though, I may be able to try for you, although they may not accept a second order from the same person.

You can always join the merry crowd at The Swan on the A325. They run an outside bar. It's right under the flight path.
Parking anywhere close can be tricky, though.

Nope mine definately wasn't free! I paid the £42 plus I had to subscribe to one of their magazines which was another £25! I wouldn.'t have bothered and would have gone on one of the public days but I'm busy for both of them.
