Try More Than. They were £200 cheaper than Direct Line for a 21 year old Focus-driving friend with zero NC.

Its renewal time for me too Rich (started a thread in GG if you can be bothered to dig it up)

Sad to say the best by far has been Chriss Knapp! Adrian Flux were'nt far off though.

The next one on my list to try is MCE.

cheers really annoyed with chris knott as they said in 4 months time they'd happily insure me as id of owned the car a year or if id had some NCB but he couldn't unless i had some of that but said he'd happily beat the offers id had so far.

just spent half hour on phone with admiral and they've dropped it to 1k now. ill try a few others, i got an online quote with adrian flux and they wanted over 2k!

im going to ring direct line Monday morning and see if they'll match the offer.

elephant, Bell, or tesco. All used to be good for me. Add a old parent on as a named driver always helped too.

Have you tried greenlight, direct line and adrian flux? One of those were always the cheapest for me.

That said after peoples experiences of late I won't be going for the cheapest by default anymore, I'll be asking questions about cover!

Adrian Flux want over 2k, green light even list my car as not one they will insure!!! and direct line wont price match as they offer a better service! love insurance companies!

thing seems that everyone wants over 1.5k which imo is silly! its a skoda!!! im thinking admiral for 10 months then looking around as atleast ill have some no claims again then. even the performance insurers don't want to touch me which is annoying. think ill try tesco and see if they price match, im always wary of cheap insurers and is why i went to chuchill as they where a mainstream insurer and ive nothing but grief with them.

Not sure if privilege has been mentioned, similar to direct line (same format)
