Any from here doing this?

Only just got a place for it during the week, but went on a 35 miler today without too much of a problem.

I was also thinking about leaving on of the cars down their on Saturday then driving it back Sunday.
fking genious, that sounds like a plan to me.

ETA: although that leaves the problem of getting to Clapham damn early on a Sunday.

I last did this about 10 years ago and it's a great event. My best time was 4 hrs and we were lucky in having a coach to bring us back home again. Good luck to anyone who is doing it.

Bitter experiance tells me that a taxi from waterloo to Goldsworth Park costs £120. I doubt a taxi to Clapham will be much cheaper.

yikes was that black or minicab?
Might not be that expensive early on a sunday when it wouldn't take very long. I'll ring a few places.

It was a black cab. Clapham is about a 30 mile trip, I only know because I sometimes take the bike in to town. It taskes around 40 minutes on a good run.
