I can't remember the exact costs but it's not far off in Isleworth. I think 95ron was 117.9 and 99ron was 120.9 and I think I'm right in saying Diesel is around 126.3 or something stupid like that..

pay up !

shut up !

or do something about it...!

What could you do...? Check out the A40 into London on Tuesday morning.

Nothing is gonna change if you sit in your spare room banging out post on a web site winging about the cost of fuel.

Actually that's more likely to change things than getting back in the car as normal and filling as normal. If demand at the pumps drops prices will fall. If demand for crude oil falls the oil the price of crude will fall. If the price of crude falls the oil prodicing nations will produce more to get the same revenue and if there is more supply than demand then the price will fall...until production balances against demand again.

However - if demand remains constant or increases the oil producing nations have no incentive whatsoever to cut prices. BUT there is a price beyond which people will choose to do something else rather than buy fuel - there are a lot of discretionary journeys people make, rather than their essential commute, they will simply not do these journeys. The signs are that this is already happening...

Where is that?

I paid 120.9 for 99 at Tesco in Slough, think 95 was about 116.9. Cost me £73.00 to fill my tank from nearly empty, I reckon i'm going to see £100.00 a tank within the next 18 months frown
