Morning Chaps/Chapesses,

I was out in the Caterham last night, going from Fleet up towards Blackbushe at about 9pm.

http://www.multimap.com/maps/?hloc=GB|blackbushe#m...

As I approached the hill (which bears to the right) there were two Lotus Elise's parked up (both grey or silver I think) with their hazards on.

Looked like there had been quite a nasty accident as from what I could tell there was one car missing in the trees/undergrowth, had obviously been coming down from Blackbushe and had lost it where the road camber changes as it starts to decend down the hill.

Just wanted to see if everyone was ok!?! I stopped to offer assistance but I think they'd got the people out of the car as there seemed to be a few walking/sitting wounded.

I drove past an hour or so later and the Police/Fire/Ambulance/Recovery trucks were still there..

I hope everyone is ok - never a nice situation to be in.

Regards to all involved!

Having checked on Seloc, it appears it was the local Lotus group from Fleet on a wee outing, but those involved are ok..

No problem, I'd always want someone to stop if I had a mishap! Too many people are to wrapped up in their own lives to worry about anyone else these days.. sad state that we live in!

Having said that, it did help that you were in Lotus's!! biggrin

Were you all local to the area? Always good to know a few people locally who enjoy a good hoon now and again! thumbup
