I have been advised that you can gain access to the circuit from 7.30am onwards on the event. The event runs from 0830 until 12noon.

Kent Run is now closed to additional participants, but there is a reserve list.

I'm up for a hoon from the TV&S area to Goodwood if others fancy it. I'm sure I could cobble a route together from recent hoons and coast bound runs....winkdriving

I'll certainly be heading down to that one - probably head to Guildford Cathedral and join up with Gruffys usual gathering there.

I'm pretty sure Gruffy and several others who usually do the Guildford Cathedral run have their names down for the Big Kent Run.

Hmmn, just looked at the list and you may be right, his name is certainly down. Quite surprised as he's a bit of a Breakfast Club stalwart and this should be pick of the bunch, maybe the fool hasn't realised. Well failing that I'm deffo up for a run down with anyone who fancies it.... best be crack of sparrows though :alreadyyawningsmilie:.

I was going to ask on thoughts on the best way to get there...

I had thought about heading down to Basingrad and then across to Alton and down cross country? Whats the motorway route like in terms of time? Much quicker?

Depends how fast you go,I do that route all the time, anyway,I find small roads hard work after a while in the Jag.Its not the drive, its an hour of dodging potholes and stearing round every manhole, and guessing where the kerbs are that gets wearing.

Sounds like it would be best to pick up the M3 at Basingstoke and take the same route then. I'm going to have Mrs R dozing in the passenger seat and incurring the wrath at that time on a Sunday morning doesn't interest me!

Cheers smile

nono You can't primarily use motorway to get to get to Goodwood, that's against the law.

hehe

I know the roads around that way fairly well but I will be the first to say that I had no idea where I was going or what road I was on in the snow as it really did look completely different!
