Dog 1 - Car 0

Had a but of a dust up with a dog last night. The furry critter is fine apart from a limp, but anyway it escaped from a house and it was either hit an oncoming car to avoid or the dog. so I gave him what for, although he is ok my car is rather well mangled, anyone know of a good bodyshop in the area ?

Last Thursday I was giving a driving lesson to my current Associate. We were heading down the A303 at 70mph overtaking a line of slow moving vehicles when a black labrador ran across the dual carriageway in front of us. Goodness knows where it came from but it only survived by getting between the two lanes. The car to our left and we passed it with, literally, only inches to spare.

I couldn't bear to look in the rear view. I was so glad it wasn't US who hit it. Maybe it made it to the far side. I hope so.

I couldn't work out at all where it had come from. Dual carriageway - miles from the nearest town or village - no footpath crossing the road - no owner nearby.
