Van Sicker than when it went in!

Well thats my week ruined

Van went in for clutch and got it back yesterday drove total of 70 miles got back home, after thinking nice smooth gearbox again.

I look down at our block paved drive to find contents of gearbox oil spewing out now most things i'm brave about with mrsxllifts but her prized block drive she becomes akin to a godzilla if anything stains the blocks.

Now i would feck off down the pub and avoid the subject and let the garage face her in the morning, but having no wheels its a non starter!

Anyone here know of any where on a sunday i can hire a car as i need to get away crack of sparrow in the morning?

Cant suggest a hire firm. But do you have "homestart" or some such on the van. Any chance that covers you for a hire car?

cheers mate, no joy with AA but did get hold of our garage fella and he is coming into work at 5am to try and sort it out for me.

Can't ask for more than that from him really, so fingers crossed.
