Hi all,

The time has finally come and one of my close friends gets married next Saturday. He's the first to fall in our group and as such, we're all trying to make the most of the day bowtie

The grooms name is Jamie (Dave and Andy, he's the VERY tall gent who was with me on the Brands Hatch track day) and he loves his motors. Currently, there's nothing arranged for cars to get Jamie, the Best Man and the ushers to the wedding venue.

The wedding is at Tylney Hall in Hook on Sat 17th May (note: this is the FA Cup final day!). We'll be starting at a mate's house in Shinfield so the journey would be about 15 mins (or less with a heavy foot depending....driving) We'd need to leave at about 11.30am ish.

I'm writing to ask if anybody would like to drive Jamie to the wedding so that we can start the day with a bang for him. He's a big exotica fan so any offers gratefully received. The best man and ushers are making their own way from the same address but I wanted to try and get something special arranged for Jamie.

I know it's cheeky to ask and of course we'll make sure there's some wine / beer in it for anyone who can help beer

Thanks in advance for the time all - now I need to get back to helping the groom celebrate his last weekend as a single man party

Cheers,

Neil

I'd be happy to help out Neil, but i fully understand that mine is not what you would call exotic. Put me on the reserve list and if you don't get better, or want one of the ushers taking, then i'll gladly help out. IIRC he's already been in mine, although he didn't get the full "spin" treatment laugh

That was basically what I said re the RS - in the absence of anything really exotic being offered then the RS6 would get to Hook fairly quickly with lots of noise...!

(assuming of course it comes back from Audi this week... frown)

I can offer the use of a Chimera if he wants?
