Everything happens for a reason, better pastures just round the corner I'm sure.

Hmmm.... I never reached the dizzy heights of University and Degrees read etc but I'm guessing the amount of work required is demanding. wobble

Power on through, its all you can do when the pressure is on!!

Oh bugger!
Sorry to hear this... but life has a habit of kicking you in the knackers just when you don't want it.
As previously said, things almost always look better through beer goggles drink

Have a few, get that dissertation sorted, and then get yourself an even better job
Good luck thumbup

One door closes - another one opens. It has happened to me a number of times over the years. I can honestly say that I have never ended up in a worse job than the one I left. So - "worry ye not", it always turns out for the better even though it might not feel like it right now.

Chin up fella, it will work itself out.

I was made redundant last October and then contracted back to the same company for 2 days a week on almost the same money as I was earning as a permy! I am in the same boat as you at the moment as my contract ran out last week and they have decided not to renew (canned external spend for fear of economic stalling........)

Funny thing is I am picking up little bits of work from the ex-companies clients and partners so things may sort themselves out.......not too sure yet!

I am sure you will be fine, and if you are young enough to be bothered with further education you are still employable!!

Oh stbags Rich, on the plus side when I was made redundant a few years ago it all worked out for the better!

If we need to come up to the dark side and get hammered at some point just let us all know... isn't it great, alcohol can be the cure for anything hehe
