Well its been 48 hrs of bliss, its been driven around, washed more times than I care to remember.
And now has some new bits on such as private plate, and some other additions.

Now as its his first time with this sort of car it was decided to have Stabilisers fitted

Care to elaborate?

Broke as in something wore out (expensive); broke as in went bang (really expensive); broke as in he crashed it (really really expensive!)?

Sorry im not 100% sure on how it all happened but the alternator is being replaced I know that much.

Was driving along cruising at 50mph wink all of a sudden the ABS failure appeared on the dash and the car began to die. I quickly got it to the hard shoulder and called the garage who I bought it from 2 days ago!
They came up turned the key and BANG ..... burn baby burn the alternator went!

Its now being fixed and im sitting here bored out of my brains waiting for the call to say, ur car is fixedclap ........ still waiting ...........

yikes that doesn't sound good, I assume it'll all be covered by the garage anyway, but what a bugger.

Blimey, thats not good - are they a Porsche dealer so they can plug into some diagnostics and find out what happened or what caused it?

Trades and Descriptions act will cover this not fit for purpose (of HOOOONing) hehe
If they give to much grief get on to T S office and let them write a nice letter, worked for us when a crankshaft pulley sheared off and killed the engine on a Don't laugh Rover214 we had.

That does not make good reading; hope it gets sorted ok.

I would also get a print-out of as much history as possible - if you did over-rev it say once, but the car has an ECU history that shows regular over-revving or worse, then you have a good argument that it was 'ready to blow' when you brought the car...

Good luck!
