Anyone going? I'm there showing with Weekend Racer but can't go on track... Police/DVLA still have my driving licence and also my tyres are low on tread and I don't want to have to replace them for a few months

If anyone was there (other than phil obv lol), did you see the Weekend Racer stand? If so, opinions?

We were there today up on the cliosport stand.

We did drive past the weekend racer stand and one of my passengers did want to know what they are.

Yes it was cold and I got soaked through to the skin after walking round for a few hours.

We did see a black old style 3 door civic with a pistonheads sticker on the back.

All in all a really good day.

Weekend Racer is just a new club/site thats opened up that I'm sort of involved with (as in I'm an early member lol), they were trialling a new logo etc etc, had a nice motorhome set up too... was my GTI parked right up to the stand with one of the flags by the car!

Ah didn't see the GTI, only the lovely caterham that was there with the brollies over it.

Tis lovely, unfortunately it failed its SVA so couldnt go out on track

My GTI was on the other side of the motorhome, pulled back slightly as passing cars kept getting a bit too close for comfort!

Yeah, the french sports car club ahd booked a massive stand and hardly anyone turned up so the area in front of us became a dumping zone! Was a nightmare

Glad you liked the stand, we are trying to mke it something special, but very early days, but we like to go in with a bang, hence the trailer, and colour coded everything such at the flags and brollys etc
