Ive come from a car audio back ground (7+ years) take your car to a workshop equiped place, donot have this done at the road side I have seen some of the horror stories associated with these jobs.

Personally I would Call Oxford Car Audio 01865 769911 and ask for Tony Chan to be the engineer, I have seen him do countless numbers of these on brand new cars and older ones and he is the only person I would let do it on my car.

There used to be a good engineer at John Kleis, but I believe he has left now, and Sound Gallery are pretty good in Wycombe. have a look at their Golf MKIV demonstrator one of the best sounding cars arround these woods and the engineering is amaizing the motorisation in the boot is really impresive if you work out how much has gone into it

As I say a workshop job only either Tony at Oxford or Sound Gallery Wycombe

Thanks Dave,
I think that the 'Sound Gallery' chap lives on my road, as I've seen a van in someone's garage with the logo on the side. I'll ask next time I see him!
