Ok chaps,
I dont have the car back yet, and due to a combination of my and the experts' availability, it may still be a week or two.

To answer a few questions:
The Supercharger has been specially designed by the clever chaps at SC Power and built by Rotrex (i think smile ) It has been designed and built especially for the Rover V8 engine, and comes with a nice shiny Intercooler. A few bits and pieces have had to be moved around the engine bay to accomodate the new kit, including the power steering pump, and a big silver thingy (swirl pot?).

Although not essential, i have had the brakes and clutch upgraded (and the camshaft was deemed to be on its way out, so had to be replaced too).

It is anticpated that the supercharger will bring the power at the fly from 250ish bhp to perhaps 340 bhp, and deliver 290 bhp to the rear wheels - in excess of 30% increase. Although there are numbers on the SC website, i'll let the great man Charlie give me his verdict once the beastie is home, and we can compare it with the results from a couple of years ago.

For those if you like me, who just can't wait, here are a couple pictures of the innards to drool over

WOW clap fancy plumbing, and the specs look good. Are you going to keep the price a secret, or will you go public?

I want one!

Hmm, and risk Mrs DJH finding out. My lips are sealed... alternatively, find me in a pub and buy me a :drinking: or two

Once the niggles have been sorted, i'm sure Racing Green will give you a good price wink

Like the way they've reversed the plenum to put the plumbing in, butyes i can see why that necessitated moving the swirl pot.

FIgures look good, and i bet it'll sound glorious biggrin

If it was possible, I'm now more jealous of this TVR....is the new exhaust going to improve (if thats possible!) on the roar of the old?

Congratulations Dave, I know you`ll be very happy together! I`m sure there exists a witty wife/girlfriend analogy something along the lines of `treat her with respect or she`ll have your knackers off` out there - but seriously, those are very nice numbers that`ll demand respect! Drive it like it`s your dad`s.....for a while....

Wondering if RG are having an April 1st laugh though - I can`t actually see a supercharger under there!

Rotrex looks like a cross between a power steering pump and a turbocharger...
