Congratulations!!!Its the best feeling ever! were you there at the birth?
I was at the birth yet, wouldn't have missed it for the world.Contractions started at 8pm, despite being 3-4cm dilated earlier in the afternoon, she laboured through the night. We wanted a home birth, but babies head wasn't budging at all! She went into Epsom General at 2.30pm, the little 'un was born, using ventouse, at 15.38.
At 10lb, probably why he needed help coming out! The family came home Sunday night so have had two <6 hours sleep nights so far!
Yesterday evening, he ate/drank? so well that he was quiet all evening, but then was a little rascal throughout the night. He struggles with breast feeding, not quite sure what to do!
Thanks for the congrats guys ... 'tis good to get it out and tell people!

1) That's 1lb heavier than young OB, your missus will be walking like John Wayne for a few months/years. Don't let her wear the big hat and smoke cigars...2) He struggles with breast feeding, not quite sure what to do!
2) They (both) will learn if they're patient, but it's not as easy as the midwives make it out to be - apparently.
3) There is no number 3!
