Is there or isn't there a VW meet
It is normally around this time of year

Have we been binned from using the car park
or is the venue now not large enough for the
PH fraternity

We definatly haven't been booted out of VW although it is becoming harder and harder to negotiate with them. Last time I was given a royal telling off about arranging a meet there and was told that they will supply ambulances, marshals and god knows how many other services at our expense. I just told them that I had the curtousy to inform that there would be a random gathering of car enthusiasts and there would be no chance of us paying for that! wink

It is, as you rightly say, more a case of us outgrowing the venue. There will undoubtably be more VW meets in the future though.

There are plenty of good pubs around Surrey which have a large car park or aditional land and are more than happy to accomodate car club meets..

I have one this weekend and there should be in excess of 100 Scoobys present!

They are going to want to claw back some serious funding for the upgrading they have been doing at VW lately - guess who's footing the bill !
