Ice Karting - Bracknell

Hello peeps.
Some years ago i went ice karting at the John Nike rink in Bracknell.
It was an absolute blast, and i have just enquired about organising an evening over there.

The low down is this.
We could get an exclusive Thursday evening 7pm - 9.15pm and the cost is £40+VAT per person (minimum 20 maximum 40). We would have 4 karts on the ice and split the group into 4 teams, each team completes as many laps of the ice as they can in the allocated time.

This could then be followed by a hearty curry and a couple of beers.

If there are sufficient people interested, i'll look into available dates for next month.

I did this last year, and IIRC there is no difference in the cost between 20 and 40, meaning if there are only 20 going, you get twice as long on the ice.

That's right. Provided we have a minimum of 20 and maximum of 40 people, it's £40 + Vat each (or £47 if you are an accountant )

I'm up for this. I've done it before in Sweden at a "proper" outside ice track with 8 karts. Was absolutely fanbloodytastic, definitely recommended.

Would it be an oval or more of a course?

Is it possible for this to be any other night than a Thurs? As I go to school every Thursday night, and it would mean I wouldn't have to bunk off! I have strict attendance requirements, so can't bunk off too much, as otherwise they'll fail me - Not like in the old days eh

Sadly, Thursday is the only night they do this, unless we pay £2.5k!!

Oh yes, count me in for this one. I did it with the South-West lot in Bristol a bit back, it's an absolute scream! Plus it's within walking distance for me
