The M5 is my first BMW... which I got after BMW invited me to an M5 launch event and I was smitten.
Letter from Porsche today, inviting me to attend a GT2 launch event.
It does look quite tasty though...

When I opened the thread I thought "Don't do it John" but then I clicked the link....that GT2 is stunning!
If I had a moment of madness (and the disposable income) I could be tempted, but if I kept my sensible head on the M5 would remain firmly on the driveway.
They are bloody quick though, thats for sure!

There is a queue of guys that want them and can't get them. Bloody ridiculous limiting production to a level where enthusiasts can't even get them.

Bloody odd that they're inviting people in a certain demographic to a launch event? I guess it's all part of the marketing hype... get you there and tell you that you can't have a GT2 but you can have this instead! There is a queue of guys that want them and can't get them. Bit like my local BMW dealer at the new M3 launch event, where the had all the M cars lined up - they took more orders for M5's than M3's!
